I am Cyrill Lachauer, a photographer, filmmaker, artist and systemic therapist, living in Berlin and partially in Los Angeles.
I grew up in the valley of the river Inn on the border between Germany and Austria, where I began rock climbing at the age of 12.
I studied cultural anthropology, directing and visual arts in Munich and Berlin.
I worked as a climbing and surfing instructor, carpenter, bar tender, surf board shaper and teacher for photography.
I spent most of my adult life on the road.
I like riding freight trains and climbing big-walls.
I have three kids. They are the love of my life.
I still don’t know what this „I“ means…
